If you want to cross Port Hercule harbour in Monaco between Monte Carlo and Monaco Ville, the electric solar powered boat bus named “Camille” has transported more than 110.000 passengers annually across the harbour. The Bateau Bus pier at the Monte-Carlo side is just next to Yacht Club de Monaco and close to the Cruise Terminal at the Mocaco Ville side. Just follow the signs at both sides to the small piers to access this small and convenient ferry. The ferry was an initiative from Prince Albert II of Monaco and has cruised the harbour since 2007. The crossing cost 2 euro, which you pay onboard. This is in our opinion a perfect way to have a closer look at all the giant yachts in one of the most famous harbours in the world. The crossing takes only a couple of minutes, but for two euros, you can go a couple of times if you wish.
