Casino de Monte Carlo has several restaurants and bars, and one of them is available for all guests. Even if you are not a gambler, we highly recommend a visit and maybe a drink or an ice cream here. If you enter the casino by the main etrance, you pass the shop to the left and continue into the casino´s atrium. To the right from the atrium you will find Cafe de la Rotonde, a beautiful cafe and bar made in the same luxorious style as the grand hall where gold and marble dominates along with velvet chairs and heavy curtains. So why not pretend you are James Bond and find a perfect spot to get an overview of the situation, or maybe just a nice table and sink down in one of the comfortable chairs. The atmosphere here is amazing, it´s like being in a movieset. Speaking of James Bond and his importance to the casino, his and his companions taste in drinks are reflected in the drink menu at Cafe de la Rotonde. A section of the menu is dedicated to Bond drinks. You can of course have a Vodka Martini, shaken not stirred, but also a Vesper Casino Royal and a Mint Julep from Goldeneye. Café de la Rotonde is open from 11 to 19 every day from April to the end of October. And if you are wondering which Bond films were filmed here, it is surprisingly only two movies - Goldeneye and Never Say Never Again (the remake of Thunderball with an older Sean Connery back as Bond)
