Cruise guests arrive Monaco at Quai de la Nouvelle Digue. Depending on the size of your cruise ship, you either arrive by tenders from your ship or dock at the Quai. All the large ships have to use tenders. Quai de la Nouvelle Digue is located outside Port Hercule, the main harbour in Monaco. When you leave the terminal, you can choose to walk along the harbour and have a look at all the amazing yachts here, or catch a jump-on jump-off bus which has a bus stop just outside the terminal. The bus drives in a circular route with stops by the Palace, the Musée Océanographique (the aquarium), Monte Carlo Casino, Villa Sauber (museum of modern art) , Jardin Japonais (next to Lavrotto Beach) and the Stade Louis II - almost on the western border of Monaco - among other stops. A one day pass is about 23 euros for adults and 8 euros for children (11 and younger) for a one day pass with unlimited rides. If you plan to cross the harbour, the Bateau Bus landing is also close by. This is a small electric ferry that brings you over to Yacht Club de Monaco in a couple of minutes for 2 euros. This is a great way to have a closer look at all the amazing yachts in the harbour. This brings you closer to the casino at top of the hill. You can from here also walk through the famous Formula 1 tunnel below the Fairmont hotel to get to the the beach in Monaco (and Villa Sauber).
