If you are looking for some affordable coffee and small bites, there
is in fact a Starbucks very close to the Monte-Carlo Casino. It is
located in the very cool and stylish NiBox building which is the
neigbour to the Fairmont hotel and just down the hill from the
Casino. The easiest access is from the the Fairmont side, you then
walk right into it at the top floor by a short landing.
Starbucks is located at the roof top of the building. It used to
overlook the ocean, but the huge reclaimed land project by the
oceanfront will take much of the direct oceanview - but the frappe
and coffee is still the same, though.
The building used to be home to a bowling alley and an McDonalds
as well, but they are closed down due to the pandemic.
