Shop and dine in Rue Princesse Caroline, Monaco - A small oasis and pedestrian area in the busy streets of Monaco with small boutiques, restaurants and cafes. Monaco is bursting with designer stores, exclusive boutiques and expensive restaurants, but if you are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, Rue Princesse Caroline is the place to visit. This calm and cozy pedestrian area, named after the regent Prince Albert’s sister, and its different sidestreets, is packed with nice restaurants and cafes - and many small, interresting boutiques. Here you find both fashion stores, book stores, art boutiques, souvenir shops, a wine shop, an optician, interior shops, hairdresser, perfumes and more. Among the restaurants, you find typical french brasseries and bistros, but also italian restaurants, a japanese sushi, Grubers Burgers, an ice cream parlour, an organic restaurant, a patisserie, a salad bar, pizzerias, coffe shops and many more You can access the area directly from the inner port (of Port Hercule) in Monaco and boulevard Albert 1er, and continue up the hill to explore the pedestrian streets. Rue Princesse Caroline ends up in Rue Grimaldi, with more interesting boutiques.
