What to do in
Monaco - if you are
on a tight budget
Monaco is not the obvious place to be if
you are on a tight budget, but there are
amazingly many interesting things to do
for free or for a small amount of money. In
this video we give you no less than 15
suggestions.

Have something to drink at Cafe de
Paris and watch the life in front of
Casino Monte Carlo
•
Take a walk at the port and watch the
amazing yatchs
•
Cruise the harbour by the Bateau Bus -
the solar powered electric ferry
crossing the harbour - one way cost 2
euros
•
Go souvenir shopping in the pedestrian
area of Rue Princesse Caroline
•
Go to the beach, either at Plage de
Larvotto or Monte Carlo Beach further
out
•
Enjoy a frappuchino at the Starbucks
Roof Terrace at the cool Ni Box Building
not far from the Casino and Fairmont
Hotel.

Visit the Jardines de la Petite Afrique -
the park in front of the casino
•
Visit the lobby of the casino (available
for all now - even in shorts)
•
Have a coffee at one of the bars in the
front of the Yacht Club de Monaco and
pretend you are going to save the
stealth chopper from Goldeneye, since
James Bond failed
•
Visit the Castle, Palais Princier and the
muesum Oceanographique
•
Visit the museums Villa Sauber and
Villa Paloma, not far from Forum
Grimaldi and the Larvotto beach, both
showcase contemporary creativity
•
Go window shopping for cars along
Avenue Princess Grace
•
... or just go on car safari in front of the
Casino or the Fairmont hotel below
•
Enjoy modern architecure - Monaco has
a lot to offer
•
Walk through the tunnel below the
Fairmont hotel where the Formula one
cars get to their highest speed during
Monaco Grand Prix, chances that a
supercar passes you and give you an
example of the noise is quite high.
